Started in 2008, in memory of Landon Bos, son of Corrine and Dave Bos, the Landon Bos Bicycle Rodeo is an annual event designed to promote bicycle safety in our communities. Faith Regional is proud to partner with a number of other businesses and organizations in the community to provide bike safety inspections, helmet fittings, a bicycle obstacle course, and free bicycle licensing for Norfolk residents. A number of other fun activities for children are available during the event.

This fun event began in 2011 and started as a way to promote health and wellness in our region, as well as remember comedy legend and Norfolk, Nebraska native, Johnny Carson. Each year, the event raises funds to support pediatric needs in the area, especially in healthcare. Faith Regional is a proud sponsor of the event supporting wellness in our area. We are also an honored recipient of donations from the event throughout the years. You can learn more about the marathon by visiting laughandahalfmarathon.com.

Area schools hold fundraising events to raise money to support cancer patients in our region. The schools organize the fundraiser that typically coincides with an athletic event and might include a raffle, t-shirt sales, or bake sale. Some area schools have turned their Pink-Out fundraiser into a friendly competition with a rival school to raise even more money for a great cause. If you would like to host a Pink-Out event at your school and want more information, email us a foundation@frhs.org or call us at (402) 644-7302.
