Breastfeeding Services

Feel confident in your breastfeeding experience when you partner with our certified lactation consultants at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska. You can talk to us for support, education, and guidance before, during, and after your hospital stay.

During Pregnancy

Prepare to breastfeed when your little one arrives. Make a First-Time Parents Plus or Non-First-Time Parents Plus  virtual appointment with a nurse or ask to talk to a lactation consultant to learn:

• Signs your baby is hungry
• Comfortable and safe feeding positions
• Tips for successful breastfeeding

Support After Birth

Faith Regional is proud to offer Certified Lactation Consultants to help you while you are at the hospital and after you are discharged. Our Lactation Consultants can answer any questions you may have about breastfeeding, using a breast pump, storing breastmilk, feeding with a bottle and using powdered formula.

Our lactation team works with you to answer any questions you may have and to help you solve any problems before you go home.

Once you go home, we offer a variety of opportunities to provide you with the support you need to continue breastfeeding, including:
