Optimal Performance is a comprehensive program consisting of multiple services to help individuals improve their functional abilities. Whether you are an athlete, have completed occupational, physical or speech therapy, or you want to improve your overall health and wellness, our Optimal Performance program can help you meet your individual goals.
While in-season training is important for student athletes, the off-season is just as critical to improve your health and fitness. Faith Regional Health Services offers a comprehensive Sports Performance program to help student athletes:
Whether you want your child to learn how to coordinate athletic movements at a younger age and learn specific drills to improve a particular area of athleticism, or your child is older, and they want to get stronger, run faster or jump higher to be more competitive in sports, Faith Regional's Optimal Performance professional, Jenni Aschoff, ATC, LAT, creates an evidence-based program specific to their goals.
If you want to stay active but don't have access to space or specialized equipment, such as a warm water pool or overhead harness system to prevent falls, our trained professional, Jenni Aschoff, ATC, LAT, can develop a fitness program tailored to your needs and goals using our specialized equipment.
During the first session, Jenni does a thorough assessment of each participant to determine the specifics of an individualized program, to maximize your time working on areas of need specific to your body. She will also re-assess your improvement along the way and continually adjust your workout as your needs change. “One size does not fit all.” To make the quickest physical gains, targeted exercises, and personalized programs are best.
There are many benefits of participating in a fitness program, but not many opportunities exist for people who need specialized therapy equipment or assistance to complete fitness tasks.
After a significant trauma or medical diagnosis or procedure, such as a stroke, Parkinson's disease, brain injury, orthopedic surgeries, and arthritis, at some point skilled therapy with a physical, occupational or speech therapist is no longer needed due to a plateau in progress, or your goals being met. When this occurs, insurance will no longer pay for these services. This is where Faith Regional's Optimal Performance program steps in. Our trained professional works with you to continue the exercises or activities you learned in therapy.
Our many Optimal Performance program options will keep you moving and enjoying life. We offer both individual and small group classes for a minimal fee. Insurance cannot be billed for these services.
Balance Practice with our Solo-Step Overhead Track & Harness System
The Solo-Step Overhead Track and Harness System is beneficial for people with neurological disorders, balance disorders, amputees, and anyone at risk of falling. The only requirement is that you need to be able to stand up from a chair with minimal to moderate assistance.
Walking or performing standing exercises using the Solo-Step provides complete fall protection when balance and strength aren't what they used to be. Decrease your fear of falling while challenging yourself in a safe environment to continue practicing balance and walking activities after you've completed physical therapy.

Stretching to Improve Flexibility
Move easier and feel better by scheduling stretching sessions with our expert exercise specialist. As we age, most people begin to lose flexibility, and our bodies conform to the positions we are routinely in during the day. For example, if you have a desk job, you will likely develop patterns of tightness throughout your body that differ from those who are on their feet most of the day. Or perhaps you've had surgery and completely physical therapy, but you still deal with stiffness in a joint or tightness in a muscle.
You'll work one-on-one with our specialist, who will stretch you while you relax. You will also learn stretches that you can do daily at home to maintain the benefits of improved posture, circulation, and range of motion.
Package options:
- Single Session: $50/session
- Two Sessions: $45/session
- Three Sessions: $40/session
- Four Sessions: $35/session
