The 2022 Northeast Nebraska Trauma Conference will provide clinically relevant information and educational resources for evidence-based trauma practice. The varied topics include blast injuries and treatment, human trafficking, active killer preparedness, trauma survivor perspectives on care, and trauma related PTSD and resilience. These topics will enhance knowledge, skills and performance in the assessment and treatment of trauma patients as well as self-care for clinical staff involved in the care of trauma victims.
Who Will Benefit
This conference is designed for trauma surgeons, general surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, physicians providing trauma and critical care, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, EMS personnel, public health professionals and other interested health care providers.
Faith Regional will continue to keep the health and safety of the community at the forefront of our decisions. Therefore, we have implemented the following practices for this conference which align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines:
- All participants must wear masks and will be socially distanced
- Dependent on the state of COVID-19 in the region, a decision may be made to postpone or cancel the conference. In that case, all registered participants would receive a full refund.
Provider (CME) Credit
Faith Regional Health Services is accredited by the Nebraska Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Faith Regional Health Services designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 (TM) credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing (CNE) Credit
Faith Regional University is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
To receive 6.0 contact hours you must register, arrive on time, attend the entire event, and complete the post-quiz and evaluation prior to receiving certificate of completion.
