Kelly Driscoll received her Registered Nurse degree from Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta, Iowa. She continued her education with a Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Since 1999, Driscoll has held management positions, including Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, and Interim CEO with Unity Point Health System in Iowa.
In 2011, she was hired at Faith Regional Health Services as Vice President of Patient Care Services. In 2013, she accepted the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2018, she was appointed Faith Regional President and CEO.
Driscoll received the distinguished certification as a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2012. She was named among 130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019 and among 60 rural hospital CEO’s to know in 2020 by Becker's Hospital Review.
Mrs. Driscoll is married and has three children.
Brian Blecher, RN, BSN, MHA
Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional Physician Services and Network Development
Brian Blecher received his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Midland Lutheran College in 1994. He received his Masters of Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University in 2015. Mr. Blecher worked as a Nurse Tech and Registered Nurse at Immanuel Medical Center before coming to Faith Regional in 1996. At Faith Regional, Blecher began his career as an RN in ICU and Heart Catheterization/Interventional Radiology before becoming manager of the Cath Lab, IR Lab, Radiology Nurses, and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Since 2009, he has served as Executive Director of Employee Wellness, Cardiac & Vascular Services, Radiology, Cardiopulmonary Services, and Emergency Medicine before accepting the role of Chief Transformation Officer and Network Development in 2017. In addition to this role, Blecher began serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Faith Regional Physician Services in 2019.
Mr. Blecher is married and has three children.
Janna Cline, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Janna Cline has 20 years of experience in finance and has been with Faith Regional Health Services since 2019 as the Controller. Janna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She also has a Masters of Business Degree from Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
Janna began her career in finance in 2001, working for local Regional Planning Commissions, and served as the Finance Director in 2012. She began working in healthcare and finance in 2011, as the Finance and Human Resource Manager at Van Buren County Hospital. In 2017, she moved to McDonough District Hospital, a 50-bed sole community hospital, as the Leader of Fiscal Services. She left McDonough to come to Faith Regional in 2019.
Mrs. Cline is married and has two children.
Mark Davis, MD, CPE
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Mark Davis is a Nebraska native and an esteemed Northeast Nebraska medical community member. He began his private OB/GYN practice in 1990 and joined Faith Regional Physician Services in 2018. He is an active member and has served in leadership positions for many leading medical organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, Nebraska Medical Association, and the Nebraska OB/GYN Society. Before being appointed Chief Medical Officer in 2019, Dr. Davis held many leadership positions at Faith Regional, including Chief of Staff.
Dr. Davis earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the associate staff at the University of South Dakota and Des Moines University. In 2021, he completed the Certified Physician Executive Program.
Dr. Davis is married and has three children.
Thomas J. Lee, MPA, FACHE
Vice President of Support and Ancillary
Tom Lee has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including six years of active duty service in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. He has been in executive leadership positions since 2002, including Vice President of Administration at Avera St. Luke’s in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and CEO in Emmetsburg, Iowa and Wayne, Nebraska. He became a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2007. In 2015, he accepted his current role as the Vice President of Support and Ancillary Services at Faith Regional.
Lee received his Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University and in Nursing from Creighton University. He also completed his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2002.
Mr. Lee is married and has two children.
Vice President of Performance Improvement
Prior to joining Faith Regional Health Services, Brandon Morfeld served as a continuous improvement coordinator at Becton Dickinson West in Columbus, NE. In his role there, he gained a thorough understanding of the cost savings initiatives process and how to oversee the big picture. He achieved Lean Leader Certification and trained in the Six Sigma Green Belt. He also helped create or execute several projects to eliminate waste and reduce downtime, helping the plant to achieve its savings targets. Mr. Morfeld uses his knowledge of Lean to assist the organization in driving down waste, increasing revenue, and building efficiencies across the organization.
Mr. Morfeld has completed the Lean Black Belt training offered by the Aveta Business Institute and earned his Black Belt certification. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD. He is a native of Stanton, NE.

Vice President of Human Resources and Mission Services
Janet Pinkelman has served as Vice President of Human Resources and Mission Services since 2010. She has over thirty years of experience in Human Resources, including recruitment and retention, employee and management training, policy assessment, performance management, and benefits administration. In 1985, Pinkelman became the Personnel Director of the Lutheran Community Hospital. In 1996, Mrs. Pinkelman was hired as Human Resources Director at Faith Regional Health Services.
Pinkelman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE.

Connie Rupp, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Connie Rupp received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing. She was also the recipient of the Charlotte Burgess Award for Outstanding Master’s Graduate. Since 2007, she has held management positions including Unit Director for the Birth and Infant Care Center/NICU/Pediatrics; the Interim Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer and the Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer with Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
In 2017, Rupp accepted the role of Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Faith Regional Health Services. Working collaboratively with an engaged team, she is leading initiatives to transform nursing care at Faith Regional through consistency and alignment using standardized tools and approaches. This investment by the team has resulted in many quality metric improvements and accolades.
Rupp currently serves as the Nebraska Organization of Nurse Leaders (NONL) District 2 President.
Mrs. Rupp is married and has three children and 1 grandchild.
Brian Sterud, MBA, CHCIO, FACHE, FHIMSS
Chief Information Officer
Brian Sterud has served as Chief Information Officer at Faith Regional Health Services since 2012. He came to Faith Regional from Brookings Health Systems where he was the Director of Information Management since 2008. Prior to this, Sterud had built a strong knowledge of the technology and regulatory needs through his experiences in banking and as a consultant.
Sterud received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD in 2001. In 2011, he graduated from CIO Boot Camp at the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. Sterud is a Certified Healthcare CIO and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems. He received his Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA) with specialization in Health Services Administration in 2014 from the University of South Dakota, in Vermillion, SD. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) as well as the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). In 2020, Sterud also became a Certified Healthcare Information Security Leader (CHISL). To achieve CHISL status, Sterud was a member of AEHIS, had at least 3 years of experience in a qualified healthcare information security position, participated in programs and events that continued his education as a security leader, and passed a rigorous exam.
