Inpatient Rehabilitation
At Faith Regional Health Services, we offer a comprehensive
physical medicine and rehabilitation program for those
who have experienced a disabling illness or injury that
has altered their lifestyle.
Our Acute Rehabilitation Unit delivers care based on
an interdisciplinary team approach. This means that all
members of your treatment team – physicians, rehabilitation
nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech/language
pathologist, psychiatrist, dietitian, and social worker/case
manager – are equally responsible for your overall
improvement in every aspect of your care. The team will
work closely with you and your family to assess your needs
and determine the most appropriate course of therapy.
Patients admitted to the Acute Rehabilitation Unit are
taking the first step toward increased independence. The
Unit is designed to offer a professional, relaxed environment.
Group meals in the dining room give patients the opportunity
to share experiences and socialize. Daily rehabilitation
activities are developed to meet each individual’s
specific needs.
