Norfolk –November 15, 2012: The creation of the first ever Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic, featuring many of the areas finest graduated seniors, is well on track and will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, according to NEN All-Star Football Classic Vice President and of Pierce High School head football coach, Mark Brahmer.
More than 50 school administrators, football coaches and sponsors of the event attended an “Open House’’ Wednesday night at the Norfolk Country Club.
The Classic will feature athletes from eleven-man, eight-man, and six-man competition.

We intend to have both head coaches and assistant coaches involved.’’
It had been announced, previously, that 59 area high school football teams are eligible to nominate players for selection to one of the two squads that will be determined at a later date.
