Faith Regional's Acute Rehabilitation Unit Relocated to West campus.
Norfolk –May 1, 2012: Effective May 1, 2012, Faith Regional’s Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is now located on the hospital’s West campus location, 2700 W. Norfolk Ave., on the third floor, West Pavilion in the bed tower.
The relocation of ARU to the West campus has been part of the hospital’s strategic plan since the opening of the bed tower in 2010. This move gives patients immediate access to services such as respiratory therapy, pharmacy and laboratory, allowing Faith Regional to treat patients that have a higher acuity and more complex healthcare needs. Acute rehabilitation can benefit patients who have experienced an illness, injury or debilitation as a result of amputation, arthritis, cerebrovascular accident, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic condition, multiple fractures, major multiple trauma or neurological disease.
The Acute Rehabilitation Unit telephone will remain the same, (402) 644-7309.
Faith Regional’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapies – physical, occupational, and speech - will remain located on the third floor of East campus, 1500 Koenigstein Ave.
