Volunteer Services Scholarships

Faith Regional Volunteer Services has over 100 volunteers who perform over 500 work hours in a single year! We take our service very seriously. In addition, Volunteer Services provides different scholarship programs for individuals seeking a career in a health-related field. RN, LPN and ADN students, and Faith Regional employees can benefit from theses scholarships.

LPN and ADN Scholarships

Faith Regional Volunteer Services awards two-$500 scholarships each year to students at Northeast Community College who are graduating with an LPN Degree. We also award two-$1000 scholarships each year to students at Northeast Community College who are in their second year working toward any Advanced Nursing Degree.

Applications must be received by January 20 of each school year and include a transcript from the college. Applications may be obtained from the Nursing College or the Financial Aid Office at Northeast Community College for the LPN Scholarships or the Advanced Nursing Degree Scholarships. Applications must be sent to the Scholarship Chairperson.

RN Scholarships

Faith Regional Volunteer Services has two-$2000 scholarships available for graduating seniors each year who have been accepted into a nursing school program to become a Registered Nurse.

Applications must be received by May 1 each year and are available from their Senior Class Guidance Counselor or by contacting Scholarship Chairperson.

FRHS Employees

Faith Regional Volunteer Services two-$500 scholarships to employees of Faith Regional Health Services each semester who are going back to college to get additional training or a different degree.

Applications for the first college semester must be sent by August 1 each year. Applications for the second college semester must be sent by December 1 each year. Applications may be obtained from the Gift Box at the hospital or by contacting the Scholarship Chairperson.
