Norfolk is nestled in the Elkhorn Valley in Northeast Nebraska, and is surrounded by gently rolling hills. It has a population of more than 24,000 and nearly 35,000 people reside in Madison county. Norfolk is approximately 2 hours from Omaha and Lincoln, and is the ninth largest city in the state. Unemployment is very low.
