How Are Loans Awarded?
Eligibility for a Educational Loan is contingent upon the applicant having completed all prerequisite classwork and being accepted and enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester or term, or equivalent thereof, in a qualified healthcare program or having been enrolled or graduated within the previous year. The applicant’s signed intent to work for Faith Regional for a period of time following graduation is also required.
To maintain eligibility, applicants must successfully complete 12 credit hours per semester or term, and maintain a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Loans are awarded based on job classifications and budget allowances established annually by Faith Regional Health Services. Approved loans are awarded based on $2,500 per semester or term with a maximum aggregate of $20,000 for a four-year program. |

What Is My Commitment To Faith Regional?
Upon successful graduation, licensure or certification, you will be eligible to have your loan forgiven in equal amounts over the employment period agreed upon in the Educational Loan Agreement. (Amounts forgiven become taxable income in the year which repayment is no longer required.)
If Faith Regional does not have a position available upon completion of your education, the loan will need to be paid back monthly over the same number of years of the original loan agreement. |
