The Faith Regional University offers monthly “Healthy U” classes to become better informed about health matters which are important to you. Classes are free or for a nominal fee to ensure everyone is able to attend. Register today as classes fill quickly!

Vestibular Therapy: What is making me dizzy, and how do I fix it?

Do any of the following increase your dizziness/sense of spinning? Tipping your head up/back; walking down the aisle of a supermarket; quick movements of your head; turning over in bed; bending over; walking on uneven ground. If you answer yes to any of the previous, therapy may be able to help. Join physical therapist, Erin Baumert, PT, Faith Regional Rehabilitation Therapies, to learn how vestibular therapy can help improve or eliminate these symptoms.

Pre-Diabetes Class

Discuss pre-diabetes and lifestyle changes you can make to help prevent diabetes and other health problems. Topics covered include healthy weight, nutrition, cholesterol, high blood pressure and glucose levels. Instructed by Faith Regional registered dietitian, Renae Kauth, RD, CDE, LMNT.

Child Abuse and Neglect 101

This workshop is designed to promote proficiency among mandatory reporters in identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect by helping them understand what, when and how to report, as well as explain what happens after you make a report. Pre-registration required.

Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children

This prevention training program teaches adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned for the safety of children. Pre-registration required. To register call (402) 644-7402.

Cancer Support Group

Head Injury Support Group
