Pre-Diabetes Class
Cost: $25 - Did you know it is estimated that nearly 40% of adults have pre-diabetes? Join us to discuss pre-diabetes and lifestyle changes you can make to help prevent diabetes and other health problems. Topics covered will include healthy weight, nutrition, cholesterol, high blood pressure and glucose levels. Instructed by Michelle Zwiener, Certified Diabetes Educator and Renae Kauth, RD, LMNT.

Positive Discipline - Parents 1,2,3,4 Education Series
Cost: $10 - An educational series for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children ages 1 to 5. Learn about strengthening the bonds you have with your children and how choices, routines and positive interactions can increase your child’s school readiness and self-control. Must commit to all 3 sessions. Facilitated by Melissa Nemec, Faith Regional Health Services. Book and refreshments included and certificate for inservice hours available for daycare providers.

SignChiDo
Cost: Free - Join us to learn the techniques of SignChiDo. SignChiDo is a stress management and relaxation program which integrates sign language gesture with breathing, movement and music. It is intended for people of all ages and can be practiced anywhere; no special equipment needed. Instructed by Chaplain Dale Pracht. Please register for either the afternoon or evening session.

Childhood Obesity
Cost: Free - It is estimated that nearly 20% of children are considered overweight which takes a physical and emotional toll on them. Renae Kauth, Faith Regional Registered Dietitian, will speak on the prevalence of childhood obesity, and provide information on making healthier food choices and introducing healthy dietary habits to children. This seminar targets parents and caregivers who would like to help make healthier nutrition choices. Refreshments provided.
