Over the past ten years the Faith Regional Health Services Foundation has worked to meet the needs of our region by creating new initiatives, expanding existing ones and recruiting new physicians. Patient Room Expansion - Project Details
Total Square Footage: Approximately 207,000 sq. ft,
(Approximately 37,000 sq. ft. per floor)
Construction Cost: $56-58 million
Construction Completion: estimated Spring 2010
PATIENT ROOMS: All private rooms, 320 sq. ft. per room, areas for patients, family and nursing care, 8 isolation rooms for contagious diseases, 6 rooms with special lift equipment for patient handling, ICU - state-of-the-art, 24-hour patient monitoring and Expanded Inpatient Dialysis
First Floor: 39 patient rooms, (12 ICU and 27 Medical)
Second Floor: 39 patient rooms, (23 Orthopedic and 16 General Surgery)
Third Floor: 33 patient rooms,
Labor and Delivery, including
2 C-section suites,
Expanded Special Care Nursery and
Dedicated entrance for OB patients
Women's and Children's, including Women's Surgery and Pediatrics
Fourth Floor: Shell (potential for 39 more patient rooms)
Basement: Kitchen/Dining Room - will have the capacity to serve all three campuses if needed, with walk out patio and garden
