Meet Our Medical Team

Tristan Hartzell, MD, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Hartzell completed his residency at Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery and his fellowship at UCLA Hand Surgery. At UCLA, Dr. Hartzell was an active participant in the medical team that performed the first hand transplant in western United States. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Medical Specialties.
