Faith Regional opened the Faith Regional Neurosciences Clinic in partnership with CNOS of Dakota Dunes, SD. The clinic is located in Medical Offices North, Suite 2, 301 N. 27th Street.
What is Neurosciences?
Neurosciences includes the surgical discipline concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with injury to, or diseases/disorders of the brain, spinal cord and spinal column, and peripheral nerves within all parts of the body.
Neurosurgery services provided at the clinic include the treatment of:
- herniated cervical disc
- herniated lumbar disc
- spondylolysis and spondylolistheses
- stenoisis
- osteoporosis
- adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
- spine cord injury
- spinal urgent care
- spinal infection
- spinal tumor
- sports injuries
- whiplash
Meet the Medical Team
Quentin J. Durward, M.D.
Dr. Durward received his undergraduate degree from Canterbury University in New Zealand and his medical degree from University of Otago in New Zealand. He completed his residency in neurological surgery from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
Wade K Jensen, M.D.
Dr. Jensen received his undergraduate degree from Idaho State University in Pocatello, and his medical degree from the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, and completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Utah.
Matthew R. Johnson, M.D.
Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree and Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans. He completed his medical degree and residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Thorir S. Ragnarsson, M.D.
Dr. Ragnarsson received his undergraduate degree from Hamrahlid College and his medical degree from the University of Iceland, both located in Reykjavik. He completed residencies at both the Reykjavik City Hospital and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire and fellowship in Neurosurgery at the University of Western Ontario.
