Dr. Ahmed specializes in the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disorders. He uses state-of-the-art therapies, such as balloon angioplasty and intra-coronary and peripheral vascular stenting in the treatment of coronary artery and peripheral vascular disorders.

Dr. Ahmed graduated from medical school in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at State University of New York, Syracuse. He fulfilled a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and hypertension at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. An accomplished physician, Dr. Ahmed has been published in several cardiovascular and medical journals. He is a Diplomate in the American Board of Internal Medicine.
