Often we find ourselves caring for patients and families that are gracious enough to share their thoughts and experiences with us. Below are a few of those stories and reflections on the care that we provide.
“Your professionalism, care and friendly manner has eased the therapy process for me the past many weeks. I won’t forget your kindness and deeply appreciate each of you. It’s been good “hanging out” with you!” - J.K.
“Professionalism, Dedication, Compassion, Kindness. What great qualities you possess! Each and everyone of you made my radiation treatments so easy to go through. Thank you for everything you did for me. You are a great group of people; I will miss seeing you everyday.” – H. H. |

“Each of you touched Mom in your own special way. She speaks of all often – very positively and with much emotion. I cannot begin to tell you how much it meant to her when you all come out and told her good-bye when she finished treatments. Thank you for taking care of Mom’s physical needs, but even more importantly, at this stage, her emotional needs. I also appreciated the concern and compassion you showed Dad. He may not have told you, but he appreciated it so much. It’s been hard on him. Thank you for letting me call you at home; you are all such special people who possess special gifts. I feel fortunate to have had you caring for Mom. – H.H. & family
“You all have been so kind and helpful through Dad’s treatments. The organization and punctuality in your office is nothing but awesome!” – A.I.
“Every single person I met at Faith Regional was exceptionally caring and professional – nurses, doctors, radiology technicians, receptionists, everyone. One thing that struck me from the very beginning was that, while it has to be true that they go through much the same spiel with every radiation patient who crosses their path, you would never know it when they’re talking to you. They’re looking you right in the eyes as they explain exactly what the process is, speaking slowly, asking if you have any questions, etc. Brenda at the front desk, who must see hundreds of people over the course of a year, many of whom she may have minimal contact with, knew my name the very first time I went in there, and greeted me by name every single day thereafter. I was so blessed to have the entire team taking care of me.” – R.P.
“Thank you, a million times over.” – A.B.
“My positive experience at the Carson Cancer Center was with a group of the most loving and sincere doctors and nurses a patient would ever want. The chemotherapy treatments were convenient for me and I appreciated the few blocks I had to travel to the Cancer Center…My positive experiences are shared with many, as I am so grateful and blessed to be in good health once again.” – E.S. |
