The new Patient Room addition at Faith Regional Health Services has created much buzz over the past three years. We’ve focused on developing the next generation of health care in Northeast Nebraska by incorporating the needs of patients and families through technology and design, and by implementing a new culture that demonstrates how generosity heals. Guiding You through the New Addition
On the outside of the building, you’ll notice the spectacular design elements starting with large glass windows for every room. An illuminated cross that represents the faith-based organization is positioned at the highest point on the face of the building and lights up in the evening. In the expanded parking lot, new colorful banners display reflective words like faith, generosity, and hope.
After entering the main lobby, you pass through the new Hall of Generosity, where we plan to chronicle our history of generosity from the very first doctors and hospital in Norfolk to the new building.
Past the Hall of Generosity is the main entrance to the new addition. As you look around the beautifully appointed lobby, you will gaze upon magnificent artwork created by the work we do at Faith Regional.
Beyond the lobby, two doors lead out to unique garden areas: the Bradford Family Spiritual Garden, on the east side of the building, features a brick labyrinth where one can walk, reflect, and meditate. In the Virgil and Betty Jane Froehlich Healing Garden, on the west, a tranquil waterfall and stream give way to relaxation.
In the main lobby, patients and visitors will find elevators that will take them down to the Garden Level or up to the other patient care floors. For employees and visitors, the TerraceView Café, located on the Garden Level, provides a very different dining environment. With seating capacity for 200, its stylish mix of tables and booths gives it the feeling of an upscale restaurant. Another great feature is the outside patio dining for warmer months.
