Cardiology
Mick Hurley, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.C.C.P., F.S.C.A.I., joins the Faith Regional CardioVascular Institute July 1. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Hurley specializes in balloon angioplasty, intracoronary stenting, diagnostic catheterization, pacemaker implantation and management, echocardiography and stress testing.
Dr. Hurley received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and his medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, both in Vermillion. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota where he also trained in invasive and interventional cardiology. Prior to joining Faith Regional, Dr. Hurley practiced interventional cardiology at Hurley Cardiovascular, P.C. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Emergency Medicine
Timothy Babbitt, M.D., joined the Faith Regional Emergency Department in June. He received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Babbitt completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Prior to joining Faith Regional, Dr. Babbitt was an Emergency Medicine physician at Alegent Health Lakeside Hospital in Omaha. |
Radiation Oncology
Hadi Zahra, M.D., joins Norfolk Oncology Consultants July 1. As a radiation oncologist he will provide radiation oncology services at Faith Regional’s Carson Cancer Center.
Dr. Zahra received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in Tempe and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his Transitional-Year Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois and his Radiation Oncology Residency from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Urology
Joseph R. Boudreau, M.D., a urologist, will open Y.U.S. Urology and Vasectomy Center in Norfolk on June 7. He specializes in both surgical and non -invasive treatment of prostate cancer, men’s health issues, urological cancer, female urology, kidney stones, lithotripsy, infant and adolescent urology and non- cancerous prostate disease.
Dr. Boudreau received his undergraduate degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. He completed his medical degree, urology residency and clinical fellowship at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Boudreau is board certified in urology.
