New Physician Joins Faith Regional
Infectious Disease Services
Pimpawan Boapimp, M.D., has joined Faith Regional Infectious Disease Services. Dr. Boapimp’s practice is focused on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious and tropical diseases, specializing in Avian influenza, HIV, and early stage Hepatitis C.
She is also skilled in adult immunization, travel medicine counseling, long-term antibiotic infusion, post-surgical infections, and infectious disease consultation of both inpatient and outpatient. She can provide advice regarding infection control of resistant organisms such as MRSA.
Dr. Boapimp received her medical degree at one of the top medical schools in Thailand with honors.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Huron Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Health System, Cleveland, OH. Following her residency, she did her Infectious Diseases fellowship training at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
