Can Your Baby Hear? Early identification of hearing impairment allows for a child to have the special attention needed to aid in language development as well as in social, emotional and academic development. Faith Regional Health Services Speech/Language Pathologists offer a screening for your infant’s hearing while they sleep. Babies up to six months of age and as young as four hours old can be tested during a 15 minute procedure. To learn more about the Infant Hearing Screening Program, contact Rehab Services at (402) 644-7396, or consult your physician if you suspect a possible hearing problem. Last Updated: 8/7/2006 |
