Faith Regional
Volunteer Services provides four different scholarship programs
for individuals seeking a career in a health related field. High
school graduating seniors, LPN students, ADN students and Faith
Regional employees can benefit from the scholarships.
High School
Seniors
Faith Regional Volunteer Services offers two $2000 nursing scholarships
to high school graduating seniors in Northeast Nebraska. This scholarship
is for registered nursing students only. To be eligible, you must
be graduating this year and have applied to an accredited school
of registered nursing. Applications along with high school transcripts
and letters of recommendation must be received before May 1. To

LPN and ADN
Students
Faith Regional Volunteer Services has established two $500 LPN scholarships
and one $1000 scholarship at Northeast Community College. The scholarships
have been put in place to aid nontraditional nursing students who
are returning to college to get their ADN or LPN degrees and for
those nursing students who need financial help to finish their education.
Candidates from the following counties are invited to apply: Madison,
Stanton, Wayne, Peirce, Cumming, Boone, Platte, Colfax, Knox, Cedar,
Holt and Antelope.
LPN students
who begin in September at NECC may apply after successfully completing
the first semester of their training. Those who begin their training
in January may also apply after successfully completing their first
semester of training.
Students enrolled
in the two year ADN or RN program may apply for the $1000 scholarship
after successfully completing the first year of their training.

FRHS Employees
Faith Regional Volunteer Services has two $500 scholarships available
for employees of Faith Regional Health Services who want to take
additional courses to help improve their technical skills or further
their health care knowledge.
All employees
of Faith Regional who have been employed for at least one year and
have a written recommendation from their supervisor are eligible
to apply. Applications must be received by August 1st for first
semester and December 1st for second semester.
