The department also facilitates a bereavement support group.

Hospital Offering Daily Worship Services

Faith Regional chaplains will be hitting the airwaves on the hospital’s closed circuit television beginning January 5, 2004. The Spiritual Care department will be conducting daily worship services for patients, families and staff of Faith Regional, Monday - Friday at 11:00 a.m., from the West Campus chapel.
Patients and visitors are invited to view the daily services on Channel 21 from any of the West Campus televisions.

“We intend these services to be a source of encouragement and a way to stay connected to the faith,” stated Rev. Dale Pracht, Spiritual Care Director at Faith Regional. “We are working to live out the hospital’s mission of ministry by providing time and place for formal worship.”
What took months of preparation, getting the broadcasting system in place is now ready to go. The speaker can activate the camera and microphone with the punch of a remote control button. The chapel is even equipped with an “on air” red light to notify visitors of the worship service in progress.
“This has been a long-time goal for the Spiritual Care department,” said Rev. Pracht. “I am pleased that we are now ready to launch what those before me have prepared.”
