Helping Young Children Who Have Sensory Sensitivities
The nervous system is a complex system that helps us take in information from the world around us, process it, and form a reaction. For some individuals, their sensory systems either over react or under react to the information coming in. Young children who are faced with sensory issues, may have a difficult time when they go out into public (loud noises, air at building entrances, etc. may all cause issues). At this class, parents and caregivers will learn some strategies that they can use to help their children through these environmentally trying times.
