Positive Discipline – Parents 1, 2, 3, 4 Education Series
Cost: $10 - An educational series for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children ages 1 to 5. Learn about strengthening the bonds you have with your children and how choices, routines and positive interactions can increase your child’s school readiness and self-control. Must commit to all 3 sessions. Facilitated by Kary Pfeil, early childhood educator. Book and refreshments included and certificate for inservice hours available for daycare providers.

Look Good Feel Better Program
Cost: Free - An American Cancer Society program for women undergoing cancer treatment. Participants will learn about makeup techniques, skin care, nail care and options related to hair loss such as wigs, turbans and scarves. Each participant will receive a FREE cosmetics kit for use during and after the workshop.

Carpal Tunnel Screening
Cost: Free - Do you have numbness or tingling in your hands or fingers?
Do you have pain in your wrist, palm or forearm? Is gripping objects difficult for you?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you could be suffering from carpal tunnel.
We invite you to attend this FREE baseline screening, which will include a symptom related
questionairre, physical examination and consultation with Dr. Peter
Bergquist or Dr. Hakam Asaad. Registration is required.

Healthy Sexual Development in Young Children
Cost: $5 - This training includes information on healthy sexual development of young children and appropriate responses to children’s sexual behaviors and questions in a manner that promotes healthy sexual development. Information on protecting children from sexual abuse will also be discussed. Training intended for parents and caregivers of young children. Light meal provided. In-service hours for childcare providers. Sponsored by Faith Regional, Haven House and the Northeast Early Childhood Training Partnerships. Facilitated by Susan Strahm and Rebecca Onderstal.
